SHV rheological additive is a special processed montmorillonite clay thickener, the main material is magnesium aluminum silicate, its particle size is fine, it can be easily dispersed in the water-based system with conventional high-speed dispersion equipment.

usage method
1. SHV is usually added in the grinding or beating stage, and then other dispersed phases (base material, pigment, etc.) are added. Only when SHV is fully hydrated can it give full play to its superior rheological properties. It is required to disperse SHV in water until it becomes colloidal (the dispersion time shall not be less than 15 minutes). Pre gel was prepared by
2.. The SHV can be dispersed in water at high speed and dispersed in water. A batch of precast gels will be prepared to be ready for production. The concentration of SHV pre gel can reach 5%. < br/> 3. SHV doesn't need the lowest activation temperature and is not sensitive to heat. With sufficient shearing and dispersion, SHV will form the best gel state. In order to disperse SHV with high concentration (5% ~ 10%) in water, 10% ~ 12% isopropanol can be added into the dispersion system, and then the base material can be added.

Addition amount
The addition amount of SHV is 0.3% ~ 1% of the total formula weight, which can be adjusted according to the suspension degree, rheological properties or viscosity requirements.

Storage conditions
SHV stored in a high humidity environment will absorb moisture in the air, so it is recommended to store in a dry place.
